Inoculants

Inoculants can be added into the pouring ladle or directly to the stream when pouring a mold. These materials reduce carbides and improve machinability. They are extremely powerful promoting high nodule counts or a refined graphite flake network and therefore are highly suitable to medium and thin section ductile or gray iron castings.
