HWCO3 ™

HWCO3 ™ is a patent pending EAF Injection product from Hickman, Williams & Company with many benefits vs. straight carbon. HWCO3™ is a blend of carbon that contains highly beneficial fluxing properties. Petroleum coke is the primary carbon used in the production of HWCO3™. Optional carbons include graphite, anthracite coal and metallurgical coke. The following are benefits of injecting HWCO3™ vs. straight carbon:

  • Better Coating of EAF Refractory
